Michael Jackson, one of the grandfathers of craft beer awareness died August 30th in his home in London of a heart attack. I happened to be meeting friends at d.b.a. in NYC and had, to commemorate the champion of fine brew, a few good Belgian beers. The bar was out of my first three choices, but I wasn’t unhappy with my Westmalle Double nor the Saison Dupont. I also had a DFH 60 Minute because, well, it was there.
